* Blue Dog Dem Jim Matheson is dismissing a MoveOn ad hitting him and two colleagues for siding with insurance companies against their constituents. “The ad is inaccurate,” Matheson spokesperson Alyson Heyrand told me. “It will not be a factor in the Congressman’s thinking.”
When I asked what was inaccurate about the ad, Heyrend replied: “The claim that Congressman Matheson is acting on behalf of `special interests’ rather than on behalf of Utah 2nd Congressional District constituents.”
