Dennis Kucinich may have pity on President Obama, but Idaho governor C. L. “Butch” Otter has claimed Idaho for freedom. With his signature on the Idaho Health Freedom Act, Otter has made Idaho the first state to enact such a law. Virginia’s legislature passed a bill, but Gov. Bob McDonnell has not signed it yet. Arizona has a constitutional amendment on the ballot in November. Legislators in 35 other states have filed or intend to file similar bills.
