Shadegg: ‘Breaking Arms’

From KTAR.com:

The top Democratic vote-counter in the House says health care reform does not have enough support to pass.

Arizona Republican Congressman John Shadegg says House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will spend the week ‘breaking arms ‘ to get those votes. “And to try to produce passage by this Friday or Saturday, maybe this coming Sunday, she told her members to plan to stay in town this coming weekend to be able to pass the bill and that’s her goal.”

Shaddegg says it will take courage to stand up to Pelosi. “Any Democrat who crosses the (Obama) administration or the majority on this issue, will be crossing both the speaker, their colleagues, but also the President of the United States.”

He believes the ‘go along to get along crowd’ will knuckle under.
