A short while ago in Senate Finance Committee hearings, Sen. Cornyn (R., Tex.) yet again made a push to have the most up-to-date language of the Baucus bill made public. And again, Finance Committee Chair Max Baucus (D., Mont.) acknowledged that his committee would be voting on the actual language of the bill but that they would be voting on the “conceptual” language. It’s amazing how Democratic attempts to stymie basic concessions to transparency aren’t a bigger issue in the health care debate.
