Having watched the C-SPAN broadcast of the health-care signing ceremony, I searched the White House website for the text of the legislation. Not there. The “pending legislation” page listed HR 3590, Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, but the link for “read the text of the legislation” led to a version on the Senate Democratic leadership’s website that shows the bill as it passed the Senate in December, 2009. Whatever the president just signed, it wasn’t findable on the White House website.
