I personally like to ask leftists: “Is Protestantism a branch of Christianity? By your logic it is not, because Martin Luther split with Rome on serious points of theology. And what’s worse, Catholics and Protestants killed each other wholesale in the wars of the Reformation and Counter-Reformation.”
