Thanks for all the e-mail asking and occasionally demanding to know where I’ve been. I’ve been trekking around California. The problem: I lost the power cord to my laptop and I haven’t been able to buy a new one. I couldn’t make it to a Mac store and it seems that no regular electronics place carries the power cord to my apparently antedeluvian model Mac. So, I’ve been without access to my own computer — which has all of my blogging thingamajigs pre-loaded. This in turn meant that even though I’ve been able to get on the web here and there I haven’t been able to post anything. When home I’ll try to catch-up on all the book-happenings at the LF Blog and chime in on the rest in “The Corner.”
Anyway, I’ve had a great time out here. I finally got to meet Hugh Hewitt, who’s as charming and engaging in person as you might imagine. I had a grand time at the David Horowitz Freedom Center. And the Republican women of southern California showed me nothing but kindness. Oh, and I’m scheduled to be on Hannity & Colmes tonight night by the way.
