Alex Berenson’s new book had a brief moment in the sun earlier this year, with favorable coverage in Mother Jones, a cordial review by Malcolm Gladwell in The New Yorker, and an essay from Berenson promoting the book in the New York Times, before being shouted down by a chorus of online critics.
