Five months ago, Fayez al-Abdullah was a first lieutenant in the Syrian army. He defected after witnessing the Assad regime’s atrocities against his fellow Syrians. Currently residing close to Homs, he now serves in an opposition militia. The video shows Fayez al-Abdullah and his men setting up roadblocks to inspect incoming traffic, as they fear car bombings by pro-government forces.
