Beat the Press

Via Public Eye, a local TV reporter in San Diego was viciously assaulted on camera by the subject of one of his investigations. Lost Remote’s Steve Safran asks a good question: Why didn’t the cameraman put down the camera and help his colleague?

UPDATE: Anna J. emails:

I’m sure others will tell you this, but I saw a segment concerning the incident on Fox and Friends this morning.  The reporter apparently wanted the cameraman to keep filming, for evidentiary purposes apparently (or at least that’s what he told Greta).  The guy that tried to help was the sound guy.
