Biden on FDR, Television

I know it’s been much remarked upon already, but can you imagine the media crucifixion that would have ensued had Sarah Palin, rather than Joe Biden, talked about how President Roosevelt went on television after the Crash of ‘29 to reassure the country, when in 1929 there was at that time no: 1. President Roosevelt; 2. television? Reporters would have been parachuting in to cover that gaffe like it was a warzone with an open bar and a free buffet.
