From Byron York’s must-read on Chris Matthews I will excerpt only this comment:

Matthews didn’t stop there. “I never heard the word ‘regime,’ before, have you?” he said to NBC’s Chuck Todd. “I don’t even think Joe McCarthy ever called this government a ‘regime.’”

So, what are the chances that Byron didn’t find a quote where Matthews himself referred to the “Bush regime?” You know the answer, but read the post here.
