On Sunday, CNN opened a segment on Sarah Palin’s recent support of Chick-fil-A, and its stance on gay marriage, to the tune of Pink’s ‘Stupid Girls.’
Palin recently posted a picture on Twitter of herself and her husband at Chick-fil-A, with the message: “stopped by Chick-fil-A in The Woodlands to support a great business.”
CNN later stated that the song choice opening the segment “Sarah Palin is apparently hungry for chicken and controversy” was unintentional. “The music selection was a poor choice and was not intended to be linked to any news story. We regret any perception that they were planned together.”
