DUBLIN, Ireland (AP) — Police say four BBC journalists from Belfast have been released without charge.
The journalists, released Monday, were arrested Saturday along with suspected Irish Republican Army dissidents.
The British Broadcasting Corp. has refused to identify the four or explain what they were doing with the suspected dissidents. The BBC did not immediately comment on the release.
In my own personal stylebook, the word to describe the IRA is not dissidents but terrorists, even on St. Patrick’s Day.
