An Easy Way for Obama to Clear up His Views on Iran

Senator Obama gave an interview to the NY Times back in October 2007. Since Senator Obama keeps saying that Senator McCain is distorting his views on Iran, why not authorize the NY Times to release all of the notes and any audio transcript they might have of the interview?

I, for one, am eager to learn what exactly Senator Obama means by “aggressive personal diplomacy.”
Or this:

if elected president and would offer economic inducements and a possible promise not to seek “regime change” if Iran stopped meddling in Iraq and cooperated on terrorism and nuclear issues.

How exactly does a rogue nation “cooperate” on terrorist and nuclear issues? Here’s really the key paragraph, however:

Making clear that he planned to talk to Iran without preconditions, Mr. Obama emphasized further that “changes in behavior” by Iran could possibly be rewarded with membership in the World Trade Organization, other economic benefits and security guarantees.

But, like I said, all this spin on “preconditions” can be cleared up right quick as soon as the Times lets us hear or read everything that Senator Obama said back in October. All the news that’s fit to print, right?
