I don’t disagree it’s a close Beltway, however… This strikes me as a problem editors and watchdogs should police, but I don’t think we need to OD on disclosure. (A professional can do just fine — Chuck Todd, formerly of The Hotline, married to a Jim Webb staffer, strikes me as an excellent example — without having to put warning labels on everything he does.)
