CNN is running a piece on former Colin Powell aide Lawrence Wilkerson, and Wilkerson’s assertion that Dick Cheney ordered enhanced interrogation techniques in order to prove a link between al-Qaeda and Iraq.
As far as Wilkerson’s evidence, let’s let Mr. Wilkerson speak for himself:
“I couldn’t walk into a courtroom and prove this to anybody, but I’m pretty sure it’s fairly accurate,” he told CNN.
