Goo Cancels Goo on NPR

It was a remarkable moment at 6:53 Eastern time on the local National Public Radio station, WAMU. Gooey pro-Obama bias was pre-empted for more gooey pro-Obama bias. In the middle of a syrupy Michele Norris interview with Michelle Obama’s brother Craig Robinson, all about how deeply impressed he was with Barack and his hoops skills when he and Michelle were dating, WAMU’s Pat Brogan interrupted to announce in an excited voice that Barack Obama had just been officially gone over the top in delegates, and “more at the top of the hour.” They couldn’t wait seven minutes to announce that dramatic racial progress had just been made, even if it was completely devoid of any doubt or drama.
