The Guardian sinks a little lower

There has been the most extraordinarily personalized and nasty attack on one of Britain’s bravest journalists, Melanie Phillips (author of Londonistan), in the British paper The Guardian this weekend. It was written by the British-government funded and supposedly moderate Muslim leader, Ed Husain.

Making it all the more unpalatable, Phillips was employed by The Guardian as one of their leading journalists for many years.

Phillips has been swift to respond here.
