Last night, the Fox News All-Star Panel kicked things off by looking at a hilarious YouTube video about Hillary’s Bosnia trip:
The panelists had some worthy observations. For one, while the public is aware of the story, many people probably don’t realize this was a prepared speech, not an off-the-cuff remark.
Also, Bill Sammon of the Washington Examiner echoed one of the few legitimate points of Eric Alterman’s What Liberal Media?: The press tends to create “templates” for candidates, and to play up information that fits these templates. In 2000 it was Bush/moron, Gore/exaggerator, and since the ’90s Hillary has been known as a liar. This Bosnia story fits into that template like a hand into a glove, so it will be tough for Clinton to overcome this.
