Here’s the video to go with Mark’s post about Meredith Vieira’s interview with Rev. DeForest Soaries, Jr. on this morning’s “Today” show:

One point I’d add to Mark’s take. Soaries’ remarks about the Duke lacrosse players are immediately preceded by the words, ”An apology is appropriate for an insult, but restitution is really important for an injury.” If the Rutgers women’s basketball team is owed some sort of restitution (?) over Imus’s remarks, then what are the Duke lacrosse players owed for having their names dragged through the gutter by government officials over what turned out to be a false accusation?
