It’s Official: The Huffington Post is Not Safe for Children

We recently upgraded our Norton security to include parental controls to keep our computer-literate kids out of trouble. I, however, can’t figure out how to set up a log-in for myself and have to use the computer like an eight-year-old. This is the message that popped up when I tired to read my morning propaganda at The HuffPo:

“Dear Dad: I want to go to The Huffington Post to research my school science project on dermal medical conditions via the HuffPo blog, “Celebrity Skin.’ Okay with you?”

To be fair, Norton also blocks me from commenting on NRO, but I can read the site without incurring the wrath of the Norton police. Here’s the warning that pops up on the bottom of the screen for NRO. (And once you log-in, you — you or your eight-year-old son — can comment on the articles.)
