The Associated Press has confirmed that another eleven employees have been let go from the newsgathering organization – seven in news, the rest in technology
Meanwhile, “the entire copy desk,” advertising execs in the Manhattan office, as well as “a business writer and an education editor” at U.S. News & World Report have been dismissed.

And Newsweek staffers, having suffered through layoffs and the struggle for the title’s future, are now set to lose their new offices. Scarcely a year after they moved from their unglamorous Midtown Manhattan offices to cushier Tribeca digs, staff have been told they have to pack up again, to relocate uptown.
