Judging from the e-mails flooding my inbox, this isn’t news to most of you, but for those who haven’t heard the news, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune has killed James Lileks’ column and assigned him to straight news reporting. As Dave Barry writes: “This is like the Miami Heat deciding to relieve Dwyane Wade of his basketball-playing obligations so he can keep stats.”
