This is from an April 16 article in the Pocono Record, on a meeting Specter had with the Monroe County GOP:
“Toomey was against regulation. He was with Barney Frank and Dodd,” he said, referring to two Democratic architects of the federal bank bailout, Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank and Connecticut Sen. Christopher Dodd.
I wonder if tying Toomey to Frank and Dodd is still part of Specter’s election strategy, now that he’s a Dem?
