The Magazine Cover Metaphor

Rolling Stone is ending its large format magazine and going with a more traditional size. The last cover of the “old” format features John McCain; the new format on October 30 will feature Barack Obama.

Maybe Rolling Stone should have waited. The photo they’ve chosen of Obama looks comically large on the smaller page:
