Media Matter Boss Paid $850K in Blackmail

Fox News is reporting that Media Matters head David Brock paid $850,000 in hush money to a former domestic partner. Brock’s former partner, William Grey, threatened to release private MMFA fundraising information after Brock allegedly stole $117,000 of Grey’s possessions, including an $8,000 Louis Vuitton suit bag. In one 2008 email to Brock, Grey wrote, “Please finish this today so I don’t have to waste my time emailing anyone — Biden, Coulter, Carlson, Huffington, Drudge, Ingraham.” One 2010 email reads, “Next step is I contact all your donors and the IRS.”
