The MSM Agrees: Hillary Clinton Will Fully Recover

I really don’t know how bad Hillary’s health news is, but her blood clot — a transverse sinus thrombosis — is an incredibly dangerous condition. Yet the MSM as a whole seems content to simply repeat the short statement her doctors made saying they expect her to fully recover:

And I’d just like to add  a little to Mona Charen’s Corner post, the “Backlash Against the Backlash on Hillary.” Mona writes:

But Parker is taking a cheap shot at conservatives. The skepticism that greeted the concussion story arose not from partisan nastiness but from Clinton’s flamboyant history of lying.

There’s also the simple fact that we still don’t know anything about Clinton’s concussion. We don’t know the date it occurred, if she was admitted to a hospital, what treatment was prescribed, etc. When the concussion story was first reported, we didn’t hear from her doctor, but CNN, for example, was quick to grant anonymity to a “senior State Department official” who said the concussion was “not severe.”

It’s not just that Clinton has a history of lying, it’s that all the information that’s been put out to date has been to downplay whatever is wrong with her.

The Present American Revolution

The revolution of 1776 sought to turn a colony of Great Britain into a new independent republic based on constitutionally protected freedom. It succeeded with the creation of the United States. The failed revolution of 1861, by a slave-owning South declaring its independence from the Union, sought to bifurcate ... Read More

Florida’s Shame, and Ours

Conspiracy theories are bad for civic life. So are conspiracies. I wonder if there is one mentally normal adult walking these fruited plains -- even the most craven, abject, brain-dead partisan Democrat -- who believes that what has been going on in Broward County, Fla., is anything other than a brazen ... Fire Brenda Snipes

Brenda Snipes, the supervisor of elections in Florida’s Broward County, does not deserve to be within a thousand miles of any election office anywhere in these United States. She should be fired at the earliest possible opportunity. Snipes has held her position since 2003, in which year her predecessor, ... Read More
