Horrible. Simply a horrible show. I think CNN was banking on viewers enjoying the banter between Spitzer and Parker. I find them both annoying.
The highlight was the end when Kathleen Parker announced that Eliot Spitzer’s “guilty pleasure” was NASCAR. Why should one feel guilty about liking NASCAR? That’s a very East Coast elitist attitude. And, ummm, doesn’t Spitzer have other pleasures he should feel guilty about?
On a positive note, it was announced on the show that NRO’s Will Cain is expecting his second child. Congratulations, Will — although I did think it was a little creepy when father-of-the-year Spitzer started giving Will parenting advice. When CNN cancels the show, maybe Spitzer can write a book on parenting?
