NBC: Money Is No Object

Reader Robert S. sends along this amusing NBC error:

Robert writes: “I suppose cost is no object when you’re out to save the world, even if it means spending 10x the gdp every year…”

I take this as evidence for my theory that most people do not distinguish between million, billion, and trillion in stories about government spending.
