No Room for Klein and Dowd on McCain’s Plane

Time columnist Joe Klein, who’s been one of the most vicious and unfair critics of the McCain campaign, has found there is no room on the McCain or Palin planes. Klein was kept from boarding the McCain plane over “a security issue,” reports Politico.
“I’ve done nine presidential campaigns and this is the first time this has ever happened to me,” Klein said. “I was even allowed – I won’t say welcomed – on the Clinton plane in the summer of 1996 after I was revealed as the author of Primary Colors.”
And New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that she had been “banned” by the campaign for what they told her was “the foreseeable future.”
Other reporters for both Time and the New York Times continue to be welcomed on the McCain and Palin planes.
But Dowd remains popular at IRNA, the official propaganda arm of the Iranian regime.
