Sorry for the light blogging. I promise to have a review of Joe Wilson’s lame interview with Larry King up by the end of the day. In the meantime, NRO has two pieces by Byron York and Jim Geraghty on the new book by ex-CBS fake-memo segment producer Mary Mapes. The book is excerpted in Vanity Fair’s latest issue. I haven’t read it yet but I’m told it’s astonishingly weird.
Also, CBS Public Eye blogger Vaughn Ververs has addressed the CBS fake-memo imbroglio and what he might have done in his semi-ombudsman role. Ververs concluded that the memos were not authentic and that there is strong evidence that political bias was involved in rushing the story to air.
