Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if Keith just chickened out. He’s notorious for never having anyone on Countdown who disagrees with him, ever. Covering the Republican convention might have involved talking to actual Republicans, and Olbermann just doesn’t do that unless they’re on his show to trash other Republicans.
