Weather Underground terrorists – how ABC refers to them in the script, by the way — were the criminals in last night’s Life on Mars on ABC.

The basic storyline: a radical political science professor from Columbia, with ties to the Weather Underground, is killing New York City cops for what she thinks is their role in the death of a WU member. Sam, the cop from the future who finds himself back in the 70s, has a great line. To paraphrase, “you think you’ll be remembered as revolutionaries, but trust me on this, you will not. You’ll be thought of as privileged rich kids who were terrorists.”
Good stuff and worth watching if you have an hour or so. There was absolutely no hint of sympathy for the Weather Underground or their cause in the entire episode.
