Piers Morgan Fires Back at MP Who Accused Him of Phone Hacking

MP Louise Mensch had claimed that Morgan had himself hacked phones when he was editor of the Daily Mirror, citing references in Morgan’s memoir The Insider as evidence. Mensch made the claim during the Murdoch testimony in Parliament, but refused to repeat the claim when she was on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, citing Parliamentary protections. Morgan joined that segment by phone and denied that he had ever hacked phones, and called on Mensch to “repeat [the claim], show some b–ls, repeat what you said about me and then maybe go buy a copy of my book.” Morgan explained on his show that the phone hacking passage in his memoir concerned how he changed his own mobile pin to avoid being hacked.
