As a chronic channel-flipper, I was stunned at the beginning of Hillary’s speech. I was stunned at the absolute stone silence — on PBS, CNN, MSNBC, Fox — as the crowds wailed away for Hillary for minutes. No anchorman dared to speak up or talk over the moment, as if everyone were threatened with a Taser if they talked.
I was less stunned at the very spare inclusion of Bill Clinton in the Hillary-promoting film before she spoke. (In one Bill clip of praise, he had a full head of brown hair. How old is that clip?) The whole thing looked like an ad for a presidential campaign that kicks off in January.
