Greg, that Donna Brazile post is making my head explode: A party hack shares her opinion that what we need is fewer opinions from party hacks. It’s a paradox! It’s meta! It’s postmodern!

For the record, what exactly are Donna Brazile’s qualifications to opine about the qualifications of opiners? Her credentials are: A. an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State U., and, B. a long and unlovely history of party hackery. She worked on the Carter campaign, the Jackson campaign, the Mondale campaign, the Gephardt campaign, the Dukakis campaign, and the Gore campaign. Not only is she a terminal hack, she’s a low hack: Her most famous moment was smearing George H. W. Bush with rumors of an extramarital affair. “Fess up,” she said.
