A Reader Review of the Baier Interview

Reader EAG writes:

They didn’t just see the President challenged.  They saw how he responded to

the challenge, which included direct factual questions, and it didn’t make

him look good.  The pitch for Obamacare was all about why solving the

problem was necessary, that people would be happier when it was solved, and

that people who opposed Obamacare did not want the problem solved.  It did

not include explaining how Obamacare would work or why it could be expected

to succeed.
My takeaway was that the President has given clearer proof than ever before

that he believes his rhetorical skills permit him to say anything at all and

be convincing, and since he was on Fox, he has presented that evidence to a

much larger audience than usual.
