RFK’s Granddaugher Gets Big Break in Aaron Sorkin Series

The show, called “More as This Story Develops,” will be about cable news of all things. And Jeff Daniels is in it, too! NY Post:

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s daughter, Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy, has made her first big break into the acting world. Sources tell us she’s been cast for a role in Aaron Sorkin’s HBO pilot called “More As This Story Develops,” about the world of cable news, also starring Dev Patel of “Slumdog Millionaire,” Jeff Daniels, Emily Mortimer and Olivia Munn. Kennedy, a recent graduate of Stanford University, has been studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. She has been getting advice on how to break into Hollywood by her dad’s new girlfriend, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star Cheryl Hines, who’s been escorting Kick around LA to meet casting agents and producers. Kick’s great-grandfather, Joseph P. Kennedy, once ruled the town, having formed RKO Pictures — one of the Big Five studios back in the Golden Age of Hollywood.
