This just gets funnier. The latest on Palin is that her supposed membership in the Alaska Independence Party from 1994 until 1996 is going to sink her. Andrew Sullivan has two posts on it this morning. Here’s the first:
Hilzoy outlines what we know so far. She thinks the Alaska Independence Party connection is going to do the most damage. My two concerns remain: no record of any interest, let alone experience, in foreign policy; clear, demonstrable record of not telling the truth.
And the second:
“I’m an Alaskan, not an American. I’ve got no use for America or her damned institutions.” The late Joe Vogler, founder of the Alaskan Independence Party. Sarah Palin and her husband are said to have been members from 1994 to 1996.
What’s going to happen next is that our side is going to say, “If this really matters, why not release all of Jeremiah Wright’s sermons from 1994-1996 so we can compare the two groups.”
