By now, some NRO readers may be aware of the devastating new audio and video featuring Barack Obama’s friends and donors, William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn. Both are former leaders of the Weather Underground, both are unrepentant terrorists, and this new content demonstrates that they have not abandoned their hard Left, anti-American views. Obama’s campaign is desperately trying to minimize the relationship between Obama and the detestable duo — even going so far as to describe Ayers and Dohrn as “mainstream” and “respectable.” Hardly.

The audio first debuted on The Sandy Rios Show in Chicago and quickly found its way into the right-wing blogosphere. Aside from right-leaning radio and television programs (including Hannity & Colmes, The O’Reilly Factor and The Laura Ingraham Show), the rest of the media has responded uniformly: Yawn. Because ABC News broke the Jeremiah Wright story a few months ago, the rest of the MSM was essentially forced to follow suit. Aside from a single question in the ABC News debate in Philadelphia, the paleo press seems perfectly content to let this one slide.
