Take That, Hippie

No matter what happens in the world, it’s Bush’s fault.

From Wired: “Dems Agree to Expand Domestic Spying, Grant Telecoms Amnesty”
And this headline appears over a big picture of whom?

Which isn’t to say that Bush doesn’t have anything to do with the anti-terrorist snooping business — it’s his issue. But when you have a story about the Democrats selling out their anti-defense core — you know, the guys who rave about the telecoms the way campus leftists use to foam about the United Fruit Company — you can’t find a photo of the people who actually, you know, run Congress? For a story about Congress? Granted, I enjoy the “Take that, hippie,” look on the president’s face as much as the next guy, but, really, this is a story about Steny Hoyer.
