Last summer, I led an NR cover story on MSNBC with an anecdote about Keith Olbermann demanding a new door for his office at 30 Rock and threatening to refuse to go on the air if he didn’t get one. Olbermann denied that the anecdote was true and labeled me the third-worst person in the world for relating it. Now a new report alleges that Olbermann actually made good on such a threat last month when the network wouldn’t let him have his way on another matter.
