Wall-to-wall Jacko

Michael Jackson was a troubled music superstar with dozens of hits and legions of fans.  His passing is sad news.

However: CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, NBC, and ABC are currently in all-MJ mode right now.  Keith Olbermann is doing play-by-play of the body transfer as I type this.

Many were rightly critical of the dearth of Iran coverage two weekends ago, and Greg chronicled the MSM’s shortcomings this past weekend, as well.  The comparative drop-everything treatment a pop star’s death is receiving offers an interesting commentary on society.
