Tim Graham covered the bases here, but I just wanted to throw in my two cents since I’ve been following “fiscal conservative” Ned Lamont around CT off and on for the past few weeks. The man fulminates against free trade every chance he gets. He backs universal health care. He envisions all sorts of big-government programs as the solution to just about every social problem. What on earth was this WaPo reporter talking about?
And here’s the most bizarre thing: Lefty bloggers are actually miffed about this glowing piece of puffery. Naturally, this Lamont supporter is angry because the article portrays Lamont supporters as angry. Go figure.
