Watching CNN This AM

I have CNN on in the background and they just interviewed a Georgia dairy farmer talking about the drought. He just said he wouldn’t wish a hurricane on anybody, but that’s the “type of front we need.”

Not surprisingly, the MSM is missing on this. Steve McIntyre has more at on the hurricane/drought connection. An excerpt:

Despite what Harry Reid says and no matter how hard CNN pushes the Planet in Peril to link global warming to these fires (also NBC, CBS, ABC and the rest of the so-called mainstream media), it is partially the lack of hurricanes that has contributed to the excessive drought conditions — talk about an inconvenient truth. People Are Losing Their Minds Over Starbucks

We can all easily imagine circumstances in which a manager of a coffee shop or restaurant might properly call the police to ask them to remove loiterers. These are places of business. There’s nothing wrong in principle with calling the cops on non-customers who are taking up space. And there’s nothing wrong ... Read More

The Dark Side of the Starbucks Stand-Down

By now the story is all over America. Earlier this month, two black men entered a Starbucks store in Philadelphia. They were apparently waiting for a friend before ordering — the kind of thing people do every day — and one of the men asked to use the restroom. A Starbucks employee refused, saying the restroom ...
