But Will It Make Her Book Club?

Papa tells all? Oprah Winfrey, who has urged so many others to share their feelings about family with the general public, may be about to get a dose of her own medicine.
The queen of television talk says she is “stunned” to find out that her 74-year-old father, Vernon, is writing a book about her without having told her first.
Vernon, who plans to call his book, “Things Unspoken,” has already been quoted as saying he should have been tougher on Oprah because she was “out of hand and an unruly child.” Oprah was 14 and pregnant when she left her mother’s home in Milwaukee to live with her father in Nashville.
Winfrey said she laughed recently when a reporter asked about the idea of her father writing a book, “but then my sister said, ‘I think you should call your father.’ I called him and it turned out he is writing a book.” Winfrey, 53, said she was “upset” and “stunned.”
Vernon isn’t the only biographer Oprah needs to look out for. Kitty Kelley is said to be penning an unauthorized bio.
