WSJ Now Has a Regular Sports Section

And I must say, it’s much weaker than one might expect.

The online version is fine, but it’s the dead-tree edition that’s lacking.  No scores, no standings, etc., just five stories, which is surprising.  Basic information that’s in the sports pages is one thing that a hard copy newspaper does well.  For me, at least, it would be a reason to take the “Personal Journal” section of the paper home with me at the end of the day rather than what I do with it now, which is throw the section away unread in the office recycle bin.

I assume it’s a work in process and think adding the stats would be a natural fit, especially as we enter fantasy baseball season.
