Top CNN journalists have condemned an antifa protester for cursing at an NBC journalist and taking a swipe at his camera at a Charlottesville, Va. rally Sunday.
NBC News reporter Cal Perry tweeted a video of an antifa member yelling, “F*** you, snitch a** news b**ch. F*** you” and hitting his camera.
Sunday’s rally was held on the anniversary of last year’s white-nationalist “Unite the Right” rally, where dozens were injured and one woman died when a white-nationalist sped his car into a crowd of counter-protesters in Charlottesville.
CNN senior media correspondent Brian Stelter called the antifa protester’s behavior “unacceptable” on Twitter. Anchor Jake Tapper likewise condemned the behavior as “totally unacceptable” and “not at all out of the norm for antifa.”

A reporter for an ABC Virginia affiliate also tweeted a video of antifa protesters attempting to stop him from filming before cutting his audio cable.

“Still not exactly clear why protestors/Antifa were chanting earlier. They were yelling at the police, the media, white supremacy, UVA, President Trump, etc…just all over the place,” ABC11 reporter DeJuan Hoggard wrote on Twitter.
Sunday’s white-supremacist “Unite the Right 2” rally near the White House drew only a few dozen supporters who were met by a much larger crowd of counter-protesters rallying to oppose them.
