GOP Will Question Ford about References to Binge Drinking in Her Yearbook

Senate Judiciary Committee staffers have obtained a copy of Christine Blasey Ford’s high school yearbooks, which Republican lawmakers will use as a basis to question Ford about her binge drinking and sexual exploits during her Thursday testimony, Real Clear Investigations reported Thursday.

“We have her yearbooks,” the anonymous staffer said. “She will not make a good witness.”

The Holton-Arms yearbooks reportedly feature at least one photograph of Ford drinking at a party with boys, accompanied by a caption about girls passing out due to excessive consumption. There are also numerous references to sexually pursuing students who attended Georgetown Prep, Kavanaugh’s alma mater.

“She was not the wholesome Catholic girl they’re trying to portray her as,” the source said, adding that the image presented in the yearbook would make her allegation that Kavanaugh pinned her down and groped her “harder to believe.”

In one of the yearbooks, girls wrote about hiring male strippers for sweet sixteen parties and ruining “heirloom Persian rugs” with vomit.

“The tenth grade taught us how to party,” girls wrote in another section. “Loss of consciousness is often an integral part of the party scene.”

Ford first described the allegations in a July letter to Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, but her name was not made public until she spoke to the Washington Post earlier this month.

Kavanaugh’s yearbooks have been put forward by Ford’s allies as evidence of his teenage penchant for binge drinking.

Two other women have since come forward accusing Kavanaugh of a range of seuxal misconduct. Deborah Ramirez, a classmate of Kavanaugh’s at Yale, alleges he drunkenly exposed himself during a dorm party their freshman year.

Another woman, Julie Swetnick, claims she attended a number of parties where Kavanaugh, then in high school, sexually assaulted girls. She further alleges that Kavanugh was “present” while she was gang raped and she strongly implies that Kavanaugh participated in the gang rape of other girls.

Ford is scheduled to testify publicly before the Judiciary Committee Thursday along side Kavanaugh.
